For the past several years I have been building my dream 914. But the Real Estate market took a dive and so did I. I am recovering slowly but need to focus on making some real $$$ for the next few years. I've never owned a car which has given me more pleasure to drive than this car.

I seem to migrate towards the E series Mercedes (320/420) and Cadillac CTS with sport luxury package.

My vision with my 914 was to build a low center of gravity V8 powered street/AX car. It's first race with the PCA turned a finish just one second behind Bill P's full race Boxster. Or maybe I'm a better driver than I thought? ;-) LOL.

Body:
Sheridan rear flares
California native car so little rust.
Battery tray intact.
Brake line rubber replaced.
911 Gauge set comes with car.

Suspension:
Front is full Carrera came off a race 914 and has new bearings and stiff Elephant Racing torsion bars. Comes with Porterfield pads.
Rear have Koni adjustable Sport shocks
140lb springs
Large (110mm) 911 CV's and axles

Transaxle:
901 with 1st gear delete and flipped H gear for a crazy fast top speed or excellent highway cruising RPM depending on your perspective.

Engine:
355 cid Chevrolet with heavy-duty 4 bolt main bearing caps.
Many internal and external goodies including roller valvetrain.
Modified Corvette muffflers
Tubular exhaust
Mid rise, split plenum aluminum intake for excellent throttle response
High volume oil pump

Cooling:
Griffin 3" aluminum radiator
Electric H2O pump
2 fans activated by thermostat and relays

Electrical:
Needs some help but headlamps, running lights, brake lights all work.
100A single wire Alternator

Tires/Wheels:
2008 996 Hollow spoke twin turbo wheels (AKA turbo twisties). 8 by 18's in front and 11 by 18's at the rear. I never did doughnuts or burn-out's ever.

I'm open to any dialogue about the trade or sale of this car.

Sounds great - I'll take it!

I have a 1997 Honda Accord LX 4 dr, auto, 30mpg.

with the state of the real estate market, a 'down market' ride might be just the ticket! ;-) Frugal, honest, thrifty = 97 Honda!

I ended up "non-op"ing the car and gave her a rest for a year. I start it up every few months and it is still crazy fast.

I've been making due with my Tacoma and hate to see the 914 just collecting dust, so......

it's back on the market.

Not sure what it's worth to someone in this market.

You guys tell me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
