Could I have a clarification on the attachment of the throttle body return spring on a L-jet engine?

Is it attached to the engine tin or the chassis within the engine bay?

The manual doesn't quite show the attachment point.

Attaches to the engine sheet metal.
Should be a small hole in the edge of the engine sheet metal.
