So I go to the forum, I see about 20 new topics with new posts, I click on the first one, read it, go back to the forum, and all the topics are now marked as read. This happens frequently.
How do I prevent it? This is on IE6-SP1. BTW, I occasionally have the same problem on the Pelican forum. |

IE6 sucks. get mosaic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
brad's right. the php + the mysql work OK on a UNIX box, but we're running it off a windows nt box. it seems to have some minor hick-ups now and then. my problem is that it sometimes "forgets" what topics i have looked at already. go figure. i looked at the cookie related code and it's a mess.
