I have no affiliation to this ad but I wanted to share it with anyone who is thinking of doing a 6 cylinder conversion.

This engine is for sale on another site (PP) and appears to be a very good deal for an engine that has been rebuilt with no miles.

I ended up buying something similar for my conversion, but mine had 100K on it. You can barely rebuild an existing engine for what this guy is asking.

If you are going to put this into a 914 and are going to run carbs, you can sell the fuel injection setup for an easy $500. Plus, those SSI exchangers are worth an additional $800 to the 911 guys. Figure the muffler is probably another $200 at least. If you sell that stuff you just bought a 'new' engine for $8,500.00.

Not bad.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)
