I have heard / read about problems with the rear bearings that are available for our cars. something about excessive play? also, i heard about a referance to an AUDI wheel bearing that is supposed to be better?

The long and the short of it is that , I would reccommend the FAG brand (german) rear wheel bearing only. Which is all we sell now! We used to stock and sell the SKF (mexico or elsewhere), but have had our customers and ourselves have problems with them recently. Don't worry about anything else, as long as you buy the FAG bearings and check all your suspension parts while you have it apart, you should be fine and have a rear wheel bearing that will last you for many years!
