Just wondering if anyone had plans to attend either the:

U.S. SportsCar Invitational at Laguna Seca featuring the following >
http://www.laguna-seca.com/Events/index.cfm?EventID=5

"On-track activities for the weekend also include races featuring the MAZDASPEED Miata Cup, Formula Ford Zetec Championship, Porsche Club of America and the World SuperKarts, featuring former Grand Prix motorcycle champion and Monterey resident Wayne Rainey".

and

"Off-track activities include a Vintage car display, the return of the popular Brats & Brews area and the Monterey Experience, featuring Monterey Peninsula area attractions".

OR
the Porsche Owners Club event at the Streets of Willow Springs!

I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone looking to share a hotel room for either event.

I "should" be at the Streets of Willow on Saturday. I need to finish some stuff on the car, and pray that grandma can watch the boy for a while next weekend. I usually just drive out the morning-of the event though (no hotel room).

When we do stay overnight, it's usually at the Inn of Lancaster, which is quite a decent place for about $55/nite. The official POC hotel is the Desert Inn, right next door but not as nice.

Both of those events sound like fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge24.gif)
I am sticking closer to home and racing in my own back yard.
