Frohe Weihnachten aus Deutschland! Just got back from a conference yesterday, granted I started traveling on Thursday. Just wanted to wish everyone a great Christmas and I hope your travels are not as challenging as mine were these past few days.
The Dutch, at least those in Amsterdam, were not quite prepared for the snow that hit them and I got stuck in Amsterdam on Friday and spent about 14 hours traveling on trains to get home to Stuttgart on Saturday. LOOOOOOONG DAY! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif) My reward was an excited 5 year old little girl and some Talisker Scotch. Almost got through a second movie as I sat on the runway at Schipol airport. Spent close to 4 hours on the runway but the initiated the in-flight entertainment system a bit late for me to finish the movie. Hope everyone has a great new year!
