I spotted this while Christmas Shopping on the auto isle in H F. It's a clamp expander for a radiator hose. BUT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) the idea hit as I picked it up...Why not a brake caliper, piston squeezer inner tool?

I had seen the factory tool pictured in the Haynes manual and without this I was afraid I might turn the piston adjusting screw and strip the thread or bust an Oring, if the piston was stuck in any way.

The V part of the pliars are thin and steel and expand Outwards when they're squeezed. I pulled one brake pad (installing new rotors at the time), inserted the tool, and with just a little slow pressure, turned the adjusting screw and the piston went into the caliper no sweat.

A highly recommend tool for garage mechanics! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Do You have any new tool to add to the list of stuff we all need??
