These are 2 REAR cores for someone wanting classic Koni Red Special D shocks on their classic 914.

There are no leaks. I can pull the piston rod completely out with minor resistance and the same when pushing it in until the last 3-4". Then it's a hard solid push to the bottom, like a good shock should. The top of the pistons rods has 2 flats to hold the piston rod while installing the top nut inside the trunk. One of the shocks has vice grip marks on the flats where I had to hold the piston rod to get the nut off. Threads are perfect.

They'll ship in the same box my Bilsteins came in and that was about $15 shipping.
