I really wanted to buy Sir Andy's original 6 shell. I thought, if I buy that shell, then find a 6 conversion, and move everything over to the 6 shell, I will have a well sorted original 6.
Talked myself out of it when I saw that 6 conversions were going for over $20k. Now I see that Chalon 6 conversion sold for $3,000!? So, with Sir Andy's shell, the Chalon 6 from Temecula that is now in SLITS garage, I could have had an original 6, with Fuchs, solid MFI engine, and a lot more goodies for under $10k!! Trying not to kick myself, but next time, I gotta really, really move quicker. Does anyone know of any other 0riginal 6 out there, in shell, roller, or any other form for less than $10k? |
