I have a sneaking suspicion that Hondo is definitely planning on being there! I have heard that he will actually be making an unprecedented announcement of a 914 sale that will be happening this spring in Western Colorado. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
I cannot wait to see everyone again!

Is the route 66 run starting in Williams, Az.? Any clues as to what the route will be? I live 80 miles from Williams.

I vote for Bryce ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

Actually ... if it comes to pass ... Williams - Ashfork - Seligman - Grand Canyon Caverns*** - some funky gas station - Kingman - Oatman - Avi Injun Casino & Resort .... cirlce dem wagons as we are under attack.

But then, I am not one of the specialized planners.

Val and I are contemplating doing what Vegasracer is doing and going down Thursday the 31st. That way we can buy the package deal to ride the train to the South Rim. That could be a good time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Just don't plan on staying at the hotel right by the train station, I took my son to see Thomas the Tank Engine there a few years back, Got no sleep at all with the trains going through all night. There are several hotels a little ways down the road that would be a much better option.

Been there about 5 times .... it's the "Big Ditch" according to my kids.

If you were doing it by car, I would tell you to stop at the IMAX and watch the film first. I'm pretty sure the train drops you at the Village. Cost for entrance to the park is like $25 each or $25 per car .... can't remember, but I am old and get in free ...................

It is coming together:

Friday night dinner - with Mr. Sharp manning the grill. Joe, let us know what your track fees are for the dinner.

Friday night hotel arrangements - TBD but info out soon!

Saturday breakfast - There is a great breakfast place that has plenty of room right in Williams. Plan on 9:14 arrival and eating so we can hit the road.

Saturday drive - Still a work in progress but looks like Rt66 over to the GRAND CANYON CAVERNS. They have a 25 minute tour available for about $15. Looks cool for those interested.

From there continue to Laughlin via downtown Oatman. Lunch will be either in Oatman or Kingman. Actual seat time is a little over 3 hours from Williams to Laughlin.

Saturday night dinner - TBD(John Peterson)
Saturday Hotel - Looks like we will be at THE AVI CASINO. John Peterson is locking it down for us.

Awards - Mr. Luurs
Stickers - Mr. Wills
TShirts - Mr. Peterson

And its about that simple. Looks to be a great run this year!

Mr. Admin, could you highlight this thread please?
