(IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Thanks. I miss that car and am happy to hear people enjoy what I did to it. Hopefully the current owner is enjoying it as much as I did. I can't wait to see your car done. You and your dad do very nice work.

MassTeener,

I have the receipts SOMEWHERE. I'll be looking for it tonight and tomorrow, and I'll scan and put it up. I did buy the motor from a member here, TedK. Motor was originally a 1.7.

I can't seem to find the rebuild receipts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

In response to Massteener, I havent even broken in the engine, so I do not know what the compression is.

Spoke with my Dad to get more info on the engine, as he's the resident expert. Few more details on the motor....

+ Pistons- 96mm big bore NPRs.
+ Crankshaft- .010 under with polished journals and plasti-gauged to minimum tolerance.
+ Heads- completely rebuilt with new sodium filled exhaust valves and new guides.
+ Motor and components were dynamically balanced.

I've got a real nice, well used and abused 2056 with a slight clickety-knock that's your for the asking Brant. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Thinking about it though it would probably cost you some time and effort to help me get it out of the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)

Great deal on this folks. Somebody should snap it up. If I didn't already have a replacement motor I'd be drivin to SoCal.

Brad,

I'm not sure what the compression is, as I've only ever tested the engine. Looking to get a leakdown tool from the Snap-On guy this week.

Engine still for sale.
