HELP! I was at the clinic working on the 912 tail-shift boxes, and ended up leaving my original case there for someone to take to (I think and hope) scrap. It was the almost freakishly clean one. Well, when installing the throwout bearing on my rebuilt case, the pivot ball tore completely out. I'm not thrilled about it, but it looks like I'll need to transfer all of the guts out of this case into another, and figure out somehow how to get the right intermediate gasket thickness.

Is there any chance that the someone on this thread will remember me and what happened to that case?

Thanks,

Andy Boyd

QUOTE(Dr Evil @ May 16 2011, 07:23 PM) *

I am afraid that at the end of the trip, it was not my flatus, but my emesis that will be remembered by the poor folks riding with me to the airport.....and those on the freeway near by.

I got sick on something, could have been the booze and 60+ raw oysters the night before, and on the way to the airport I proceeded to paint the side of Mark's dads truck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) Beef and asparagus all down the side (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I still feel like I have a bit of appendicitis.

The event was spectacular and could not have happened if not for the generosity of Mike (6freak) and the support of his wife Ronna who kept us all well taken care of. Nice place, nicer folks. I think poor Mike didnt know what he was in for (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The vacation part was also an absolute win thanks to the aforementioned folks and Mark and Jen, Stu and Linda (let us use there smaller truck as our vehicle), Ann and Ray at the beach house, and Jakeodoule for the recommendation to stay at McMinemin's Edgefield in Portland.

Noel and I are very serious about planning on relocating to the PNW when we are able in a few years. We fell in love with the place (and the weather was deceptively nice) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

There was some real talent at the clinic, too. Many picked up the lessons and went on to need only my QA with no adjustments at the end. I am very proud of that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I am still recovering from this event...I hope to be better by the next one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

what a fuchin' light weight!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

yah you need to move up here and learn how to party like a true pnw rock star!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Ummm, I spent 4 years at Wa. State University from 1986-1990; we were known for parties. In fact Playboy in the fall of '86 ranked WAZZU as to be in a class all by itself when it came to partying! We were ranked, but set aside in a class all by ourselves.

During those 4 years I lived with up to 50 guys at a time in my fraternity. I've watched many a man fall to the booze and pray to god to be a minister if he let them out alive.

Then there is Dr. Evil. You guys talk about the gas...., but what comes out the other end (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) Put him in a class all by himself. I would have shut down and been a huddled mass. Some 60+ oysters eaten and a 750ml of whiskey later. He is a ROCK STAR.

I just can't figure out the spell he has over Noel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) But they are good together and a kick to be around. She makes him a better man.

Come back soon Doc. We're growing more oysters and we'll be ready.

The movies that play in my head do not ever lead me in this direction; however, you guys play any movies you choose. I'm sure the screenwrite I have is pale compared to yours! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)
Clearly the mention of living with 50 guys makes you push play in your head way to easily....almost naturally. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

"but there's nothing wrong with that"....just know what to get you for a Christmas present now.

Wish I had some story I could tell you to ''meet your needs" but I've got none. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Just stay with your little movies in your head.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Man, I am still suffering with gastritis after my visit to the PNW. It seems to be migrating from my stomach to my small intestines, large is next, then purge?

New twist today, my shit is grass green (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) The water in the bowl looks like St. Patties day. Never a dull moment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
