It definately helps to be thick skinned around here.

I feel for ya Steve, "some of these" guys turned one of my threads into a gun rights thread and got it locked.

Nah, I dont pull that shit. I have a tendency to make smart assed, irrelevant comments in threads that are doomed. I dont make political comments, well, anywhere.

I'm with ya Doc. Hey, I been thinking about buying your video. Does it cover a complete rebuild? Is it in layman terms for the non trans person?

As a newbee in the 914 world (both as a owner and on this board), i have ordered a few parts for our baby and with every vendor i have had excelent luck. AA has always answered my calls usually getting Mr George himself, may times spending an hour or more picking their brains for 914 info. Always a pleasent experience.

Also Mr Eric Shae i think would have stayed on the phone with me while i removed my old breaks and installed my new ones just to make sure it went smooth.

In all, the 914 community seems to be a great group of people, that I am proud to be a part of. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)

Tom, after having read your e-mail yesterday, i am personally taking on your "case". I will have an e-mail off to you shortly. I was unaware of your issues up until this point. Obviously you are aware that your salesperson is no longer employed with us, so this complicates things slightly. I will try to have an answer for you soon, and have the issues resolved before the end of the day.

Riddle me this, what is the definition of a forum? Excuse me while I whip out my Merriam-Webster dictionary app...

Definition of FORUM
1
a : the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business
b : a public meeting place for open discussion
c : a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas

2
: a judicial body or assembly : court
3
a : a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion
b : a program (as on radio or television) involving discussion of a problem usually by several authorities

If you're so concerned with members either agreeing or disagreeing with you, maybe you should'nt post on said forum? But what do I know...

Does this forum qualify as a public place if you have to join, and obey the rules which you agreed to, when you joined?

That may well be true, but a forum is not a place for personal attacks. If everyone would just get along, this forum would be a better place to spend time. I don't go home, crack open a beer, and relax by screaming at my wife. Why the hell would I want to unwind by arguing with someone that I have never met?

I was in need of some keys to be made for both Porsches so I went to AA today. Brad was friendly and made the keys I needed. Now I'm not thrilled to pay $65.75 for three keys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) however their price is competitive with other retailers. AA is about 15 minutes from my house so I'm sure I will pop in for other purchases in the future.
Brad if you read this all 3 keys work fine ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Great! My perfect record remains intact!

I understand about the price, but unfortunately the keys are 19.95 each (I know it isn't much, but I sold them to you for 19 each), plus taxes and the "work" cutting the keys is two dollars per key.

Those keys cost us a fortune from Porsche! For what amounts to a small piece of metal and a cheap plastic head, they shouldn't be that much!

I suggest you read all the posts and see which members have the most exclamation marks and font in all caps and decide who is screaming.

I, personally, have no comment for or against AA, all I'm saying is that if you're worried about someone disagreeing with you, maybe you should'nt be in a forum. Just a thought, juuuuust a thought.

I am sorry, I was not trying to call you out personally. There are some here that get too personal about it. If we all just calm down and discuss things like adults, usually we don't need to escalate to yelling.
