I am sorry, I was not trying to call you out personally. There are some here that get too personal about it. If we all just calm down and discuss things like adults, usually we don't need to escalate to yelling.

You mean we are supposed to act like adults? Where the hell is the fun in that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Tom, after having read your e-mail yesterday, i am personally taking on your "case". I will have an e-mail off to you shortly. I was unaware of your issues up until this point. Obviously you are aware that your salesperson is no longer employed with us, so this complicates things slightly. I will try to have an answer for you soon, and have the issues resolved before the end of the day.

Thanx Brad - just a "quickie" while I'm catching up on emails (these forum replies go there for my to keep up), before I'm off to my next meeting.

I was pretty put off by George's reply by email when I brought up the problem, but have been handling this issue "off-line" here and by email to AA.

I don't know which salesperson to which you're referring, but you can put that in you email to me, so I'll know in the future correspondence.

BTW - my "crack open a beer" comment was not directed at you, nor anyone else responding here, but the named party in my post.

Cheers Mate! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Riddle me this, what is the definition of a forum? Excuse me while I whip out my Merriam-Webster dictionary app...

Definition of FORUM
1
a : the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business
b : a public meeting place for open discussion
c : a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas

2
: a judicial body or assembly : court
3
a : a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion
b : a program (as on radio or television) involving discussion of a problem usually by several authorities

If you're so concerned with members either agreeing or disagreeing with you, maybe you should'nt post on said forum? But what do I know...

....IBTL

Well put Rique. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here's a new one, maybe? ..... IABTL (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Does this forum qualify as a public place if you have to join, and obey the rules which you agreed to, when you joined?

Sounds like citizenship in the USA. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
......i.e.: follow the laws, and must be born (no choice) or naturalized (your choice) citizen or on Visa/Passport to be here, or you have consequences.

IMHO, those posting here were not hijacking the tread, but offering other opinions or sometimes veering off into side discussions (e.g.: do you have any more tranny CDs? - nothing wrong with your asking Curt, I'm just saying).

No harm, no foul - it's just what normal folks do when they get together to talk, chat, visit, etc.

I think it's enough time here on the quibbling now though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Cheers to All Y'all! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Curt, you posted about folks hijacking, and then went on a side path with Doc about whatever not on topic. Point is, that could be viewed as a hijack by some. I don't think so much that it is, when we all start to ramble on these things.

I also don't think that folks pointing out both sides to any topic - "AA drama" or not - is inappropriate nor off-topic - just a different point of view.

No digs, dings or anything intended Curt, just a little (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) from when you seemed to comment that my and others posting negative stuff about AA here was somehow a hijack (or you seemed to imply such), and then went on to ramble off in the sunset yourself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

And if AA actually gets things worked out with me, I'll be happy to post on the plus side of the ledger here in the future.

No worries Curt - really! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

For years I have read personal attacks on people and business by people who in my mind could take care of most of their issues is that person or business they are dissatisfied with. Cowardly in my opinion, "it's about 914's" not about the malcontents who cast their dreadful opinions and immature words at will on good intentioned people. I would say more, but it seams this habit is to ingrained and probably won’t change. The Wizard of OZ comes to mind; all powerful until the curtain was pulled back and revealed a week dysfunctional fool. “it’s about 914s”. Take it or leave it, but you people out there who think they are the oracle of right and wrong should take a good hard look in the mirror before applying your misguided words to the keyboard. “It’s about 914s”, not you personal live struggles that you turn against others on the forum whom are looking for much more then you offer. Sorry, but this is the kind of immature activities divides people un-necessarily. Thanks Shoe, George, Pelican and all of you vendors and good people who make a positive difference.

I think I'll chime in for a moment ..

There has been a long line of ex-employees and a long line of promises.

If you, Brad, can make an effective change no matter what the Boss says ... by all means I will watch. I just hope that you will not become one of the casualties.

I have made my peace with George.

I don't know how long I am going to be here, but I will continue doing what I can to help the customer for as long as I am. I don't make empty promises, and I only comment on things I actually have a chance of changing. The only thing I can promise is that I will be honest with my customers, get them the best deal that I can, and work in a professional manner. There are many things here at AA that I would like to change, but I do not have Carte Blanche. I will do as much as possible.

Brad,

Ask George. This way you have the official AA opinion of Brad Roberts. If you need to know more, a quick search will come up with plenty.

Personally I like the guy.

Just an update with some hopefully good news about AA, if it gets resolved.......finally. And Brad seems to be the white horse good guy in this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Brad did send me an email which showed that he did read my recent and the past emails, & understood the problems with my order from AA on 2/12/10. We'll see if he can actually get my MIA and incomplete parts/kits as ordered to me.

Both Brad & Carrie responded with appropriate & polite emails to my most recent request, George did not reply either politely or appropriately at all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

No, I did not let it sit for 12 months - 23+ emails to George & staff, several PMs to George, several calls to staff, plus a friend who is a member here was in AA last Fall picking up orders, who reminded them about my missing items. This isn't the first "forgotten" or "lost" parts of orders with AA for me either, as it's happened a couple of times since the early 2000's.

Waiting to see.......
