I've got a Triad muffler in the classifieds and have been asked if it will fit 1.7 l HE's. I don't think so but could someone confirm my suspicions?

TIA,
Kev (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Bolt spacing is different between 1.7/1.8 and 2.0

not to mention that with the 1.7/1.8 HE kick up, the 2.0L muffler would be positioned to high too clear the heat shield and have the tips exit properly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
