All,
I am pleased that Brad and Mark have the beta unit running, in a short time they will get used to my silly setup software and have the engine running to meet all expectations. I have been building additional EMS units for a few more test installs. One will go on a turbo 914, one for Jake to experiment with and one for Brad Mayuer (Midwest 914 Expert). To make things simple for the installs I have built a simple enclosure, to mount relays, injector resistors and EMS unit. It can be mounted in place of a D-Jet box, and used for somewhat universal application. This is not a new idea, Jeff Bowlsby suggested this as a way to do a stealth install. Jeff is a long distance away, so I am blundering away doing this wiring the best I can. When things are fully sorted and I quit changing details in the design Jeff will build an great harness for specific applications. If high impedance injectors are fitted, and the 914 relays are used only the EMS needs to be in the enclosure. Please see my avitar. |
