My car has 5 bolt rear hubs with standard 914 calipers. Can I use 914-6 rear rotors
with these calipers or do I have to use 914 rotors and redrill them?

I don't think you will have any issues with the 914/6 rotors. I never did. Some say the rotor is too great a diameter, so they turn the rotor down, or clearance the caliper.

there -may- be a slight clearance issue.

i don't recommend grinding clearance on a caliper, and i believe the preferred solution is to have a little bit of the rim of the disk trimmed off (lathe stuff).

of course, the real solution is 914.6 calipers, but that may change your brake balance (bias) a bit too.

I didn't have any fitment issues with the 914-6 disk and the stock -4 caliper when I put them on my 5 lug conversion.

I'm hoping for no issues, since I'm doing the same.

I clearanced the inside of the 914 4 caliper, mostly cleaning up the poor casting.
