This project(like all the others) has been on the "to do "list for awhile.
The mufller fits in the stock location pretty well even with the heat shield in place. If the heat shield was removed, it can go a little higher towards the trunk. I decided to go all stainless , which aint cheap, but will pay off in the long run. After all the hard work, I fired it up last night and I have an exhaust leak at the heads. It was 11pm so I shut the garage door and went to bed. I'm going to chase it down today. Here are soem pics. The first two show the hagers that need to be cut off. there are two on top that are threaded studs and to hangers on the back. Attached image(s) |
