Anyone know the deal on this car?
Center cockpit 914

Saw this car at Hallett raceway at Octoberfast(pca club race) last year. 2nd fastest car on the track that day(996 cup racer was first. The guy pulled and rebuilt the transaxle in a few hours. Talked to him a little. nice guy. bought a cigar from us. Very well done car. Can't remember were he was from.

Ran with that car at a PCA club race in topeka about 5-6 years ago...
used to be all red (maroon actually)...

Ron runs the car right now Scott. It is the GT1 looking 914 that is/was red/blue.

Mark Hanna (a club member here) has a center seat 914 also.

I want center seating. I've not driven a center-seater, but sitting as a passenger in the very center of a vehicle I can feel the weight transfer with much more clarity. You can tell exactly how much weight is on each corner. You can feel it directly. I want that as part of the drving experience.
