I'm out the door for my first ever DE event. Been working on the teen all week and it's ready to go and running great. I'll report back later with lots of first day pics(I hope).

Curt, Good Luck! Remember not to downshift at 6k and keep the shiny side up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

With the way the weather is today here in T-Town, it looks like wet weather driving is your first lesson! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Woo Hoo!!!!!! what a day. The last time I had this much fun, I was sixteen and her name was, uh, uh, well, I forgot her name. That was a long time ago. Rain stopped by 0800, sun came out, track dried, and car ran great. We did 6- 20 minutes runs, with 5 run groups. Only 5 teens there and only 4 ran. Another novice in a boxter actually waved me to pass. I was on his ass in the turns, but not enough HP to pass him on the straights. After 31 years with a 914 as a daily driver, I gained a new respect for my car today. Best part is, I get to do it again tomorrow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I was just too busy to take many pics today, but Brian(on rails), will take a bunch tomorrow.

Sean, I did try to stick in first once, but it just wouldn't go at 50mph. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
