I'm replacing my alternator on a 74 conversion and have a question. The B+ line from the alternator goes to the starter. I have a smaller gauge red line from B+ as well(maybe 14-16 gauge). Does this wire go to the D+ terminal on the relay board? Right now, I have the Blue wire to work the instrument light jumpered on the smaller red B+ line from the alternator and they both are plugged into the D+ terminal on the relay board. I wanted to make sure this was correct before I installed the new alternator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
