Alright fellow teeners. I am in Afghanistan for awhile, so I have plenty of time to practice my welding skills. I typically use MIG welding with shielding gas GMAW for all of you pros out there.
My questions stem from all the posts I see on the garage about welding on the car. What is the best way? Jackstands on a level surface? On wheels? What about a rotisserie? I was thinking about jackstands with the doors on. I am not doing any structural welding, just a floorpan or two. For structural welding what is best? Build a jig platform? |
