That would be Fuchs for a 86 944 Turbo(23mmET), one year only, popular to use as core wheels when building 17s & using bigger brakes.. The 87 & up 944s 7X16s use a 65mmET. I have a buddy with a very nice set of 86 951 Fuchs, 7&8X16s, but they aren't cheap..

Like I said, they are very nice. OEM finish and because they are rare one year only in very nice condition he wants $1,650, down from $1,800. The Guy who buys these will be using them on a concours 86 951.

I just bought a pair from one of the west cost most ruthless resellers . Parts H in the bay area. I paid 500.00 . They are perfect . So I think Your buddy is WAY over priced.






La dis will sell me a couple at 500.00 also if they had them.
I also talked to oaklahoma F . They also said 500.00 if they had them .

I can see a 16x8 or a 16x9 bringing that kind O cash . But a 951 16x7 . NO way!
