I saw this add for an original 914-6 GT engine case for $800 on TheSamba.com. Engine number 6404280. Here is the link:

I have no idea if it is really from a factory GT or not. But thought I would post it here just in case someone was looking for that engine.

This is just a regular -6 case (/38) and a tad high for that as S cases are going in that neighborhood. That said, it might be a match for a -6 here without it's original case.

I sort of figured it was not really a GT case. The real reason I posted it here was the hope that perhaps the owner of the car in which it came might be looking for his original engine (like me). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
