KT,
Are the open areas on the inside of the fenders a problem? Will the sides of your car get sand blasted on the road? Just wondering... |

I added some sheetmetal to the inside of my fenders to close them off from the car. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif)

Good idea on the fenders!
I'll weld some sheet metal on. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) KT |

Since I've had this trailer ( over four years ) I've put thousands of miles on it. Really smooth ride. The 914 is lighter than the 5300 pound loads of gravel I've had in it.

Let's see the ramps, attached and stowed. Maybe even an action shot of a 914 launching off it Dukes of Hazard style? Pretty please (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I used a jobox on my trailer years ago. Great for security, but heavy. I built one out of aluminum that has front opening doors.
Ramps and tie-downs are a PITA. I'm got mine down to a quick and easy system, but it takes time to work it all out. Nice rig. Two thumbs up. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Paul |

I forgot: get a spare tire. You'll carry it for years without using it and then one day it will pay for itself.
