Started putting the 2.5 back into running shape and off the jack stands. One slight detour, took off the forties and sold...Picking up a sweet set of 46's from a buddy. Got the 911 struts in place ready for the 944t calipers and carrera rotors.
Have carrera rears ready to go, but first Ihave to pull the axles to replace the inner cv boots, sprayed grease all over the place. Plus I need to put longe studs out back. Thens its off to the shop for a dyno run and dial in the new carbs and a shorter 5th gear(x), running stock 5th. Can't get more than 6500 in 5th. Then its formal get my license for PCA and HSR and hook up with NASA, they're new into the area, to get some seat time to clear the cobwebs... Future upgrades: rennshift odessey battery/ and move to passenger floor firebottle, short term future another set of wheels |
