The Pelican hose diagram states...
"for 74+ 2.0 liters motors that do not have the second fitting on the Throttle Body, do not connect the vacuum hose from the cannister on the distributor to anything" ...Ok, but do you plug it or leave it open to atmosphere... 2-OH! |

I had the same question though I have a 75 1.8
I came left open and has been running ok What does that hose do anyway?? |

Actually, I think it's vacuum advance. The one that points toward the dizzy body is retard, the one that points away is advance. But of course, I could be wrong.
