All I can say is WOW. What a difference.
First, thanks go to Mikester. Secondly, I'd like to thank the academy. Um, wait, wrong speach. Anyway, the old tie rods came out and the new ones went in. Tried measuring the lengths to get the alignment close. No such luck, had to have it towed to the alignment shop. Not sure where we mismeasured. Got it aligned and it soooooo much more postitive and linear in the feel its not funny. Also, the spacers for the rack really make a difference in the kick back through the wheel. Thanks all for your help and suggestions. Thanks again Mikester. - Joe |
