How hard would it be to change the Right hand ignition switch to the "Porsche Left hand side" on the 911 and 914-6? Just things going through my head right now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Well, aside from the new ignition switch, I guess you'd need a replacement steering column (914/6 style) complete with the /6-specific turn signal and wiper switches, if you wanted to remove the old switch.

I'd suggest getting Art Zapf's color 914/6 wiring diagrams as a guide. Even the factory wiring diagrams for the /6 leave something to be desired.

The parts are rare, but doable, I suppose.

Could you use the early 911 style turn signal and wiper switches, and the steering column.

Clay Perrine from RennList did this
IIRC he used parts from an early 912 (steeringwheel column)

How early of a 912? There's a 66 in a local yard here I could get cheap. I've been pondering this idea also.
