Here is a link to the story....

Courier Jornal report on Bad Gas

About 800 were affected - gas gauge would stick and show they had gas when in fact they would run out. Speedway and Marathon gas stations primarily.

If the gas was bad enough to freeze up the gas gauges, I'm afraid to think what it is doing to fuel systems (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

They had a story on TV about a Shell station in Dallas thats tanks had a bunch of water in them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) They had a couple of folks who took their cars in for repair because they died soon after filling up there. Shell said they would pay repairs if they sign off that they are not responsable for any thing else that may go wrong because of this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif)

Shell put an additive in their gas here. Screwed up gas guages. There was a class action suit against them. Shell agreed to pay $175 towards repairs.
