Sorry to hear about your car, that's depressing. I was born and raised in L.A. and was in the VW scene for years. I second checking the Pomona swap meet. That swap meet has been one way for thieves to get rid of hot goods. The next one is June 5th. That would give the losers who stole it time to part it and try to sell some stuff. Bring pictures, some big friends, and have the cops on speed dial. Good luck!

You have many friends here in So Cal. I would gladly make time in my busy schedule to join that party! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gunner.gif) In the meantime, I work in Fontana right across from a car auction place, and I have friends in La Verne. We'll keep our eyes peeled.

Go out to the main road from your house and in both directions check with the gas stations / grocery stores with outside video cameras...see if you can look at the video's around that time. Then expand the search. You might see the car moving on the road and even get a photo of the perp.

If you find him/it, get out the silencer or get an ugly mean dog and pay a visit after midnight.

Hope you find it in one part. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

Hmmmm, just had that question asked of me by the cops when the owner of a neighboring business got nailed by a bum with bear mace (easier to get up here) and robbed. I ending up catching the perp on my security cameras and they got a good description of the perp's pick up.
Sorry to hear about your car. Bad enough the car is gone, damn insurance never pays the blood and sweat equity.

Are there any traffic cameras at nearby intersections that the police can check for you. That car would stand out. Also, I would post a reward for information leading to the recovery signs all over the place. And offer a grand or two. You never know. Post it on Craigslist as well.

I hope you get it back. Good luck.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That sucks. I hope the thief/thieves are caught and have the "opportunity" to get well-acquainted with Bubba. Too bad you didn't have a chance to give the fucker a proper welcome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)
