I'm settin' here in an advanced stage of depression.
I couldn't go to the WWC as my son and his family are here (or on the way) from CA. He lives in Yuba City. He & his got this weekend reserved first.....damnit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

OK, there is some compensation in the form of a PCA
AX on Sunday. We can go have some fun there.
It's gonna be 80ish deg today. Sat & Sun weather forcast calls for RAIN.... What I'm thinking isn't printable.....even here.

I'm gonna go stand in the effin' rain Sunday morning and have fun no matter if it kills me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

All youz at the sunny WWC have fun and :finger2:

Sorry JP. I know what you meant.

I've been checking the hourly forecast for this weekend. We're getting rain starting around midnight tonight. Then, it is supposed to keep raining until 3:00 AM Sunday morning. With the sun coming up around 5:00 AM, the AX course should be plenty dry when it's time for the first car off.

I am going to curl up with a nice bottle of RUM! It is going to be rainy all weekend after being so nice all week up here in Seattle...
At least you have a valid reason for missing the event, I am just that lame!

I thought about doin' AX this Sunday. I still gotta unpack after this vacation, change the oil in the teener, adjust valves, re-torque exhaust, do the timing, find the vacuum leak, mess with the throttle body along with the linkage and TPS. It runs fairly well but just not to my liking. Plus it began smokin' on decel... a lot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Prolly will do the next AX.......... maybe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Here here. I feel your pain. No WCC for me either. Autocross? You remeber that Memorial Day event you didn't show up for? I spun my car 3 times Saturday. (I usually spin about once a year). The only thing worse than sucking is sucking in front of a large audience. Oh wait, there's one worse than that: Having to pay admission to suck in front of a large audience. <_<

Christopher Walken says forget the cowbell - I need more swaybar. Feels like the back-end is on casters. That's it - I'll blame it all on the swaybar. And the tires. Yeah, the tires are what did it...

JP,
I really feel your pain. How about going to the breakfast and NOT going to Monterey and Laguna Seca because the car blows a hose to the water pump??? First and hopefully only "DNF". Of course it's the lower hard to get one between the engine and engine bulkhead ~ 2.5" clearance. I can only hope to get it fixed before the xcross tomorrow...
