Some of you may remember a couple weeks back I posted pics of my nephews 914 after some wingnut in a mini-van backed into it. Well, we finally got things worked out with the insurance co and I was able to tinker with it and get it back on the road again today. For now, I salvaged the bent hood and bumper with hammers and dollies until we can find good replacements and good shop to shoot the paint.

Here's a before shot........

Here's a shot after two days of bangin' with 6 different hammers, 4 dollies, and about 6 2x4s!!! Oh yeah......and a porta-power.

From 20' it's hard to tell it ever happened.........Yeah!! It's alive!!!

It will eventually get a new hood, new bumper and some fresh paint.

I'll try to post some pics of the back of mine. It got hit (PO) and needs to get worked out. Perhaps you can lend me your expert opinion if it can be hammered out. Those new bumpers are way expensive, so if I can fix it myself, great.

Thanks,
