(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That first photo looks like its Aubergine (eggplant) color. Very nice, nicest one I've seen yet.

Thats one thing I missed is talking to all the owners. I was at the swap meet untill about 2. When I went to look at cars everyone was off doing their own thing. Also took some pics of some 911's that looked nice.

Check out the picture of the orange, big bumper 914 with the Boxster beside it.  The look and style of that 914 blows the Boxster away.

Shhhh! Don't say that, remember, to Porsche the 914 never existed! Seriously, I was about to say the same thing. There is something about the new Porsches that I just don't like. They look like they could go on a diet.

The teener pictures I took were the ones you posted, nothing new. Wish I could have stayed longer, had to get to my grand daughter's dance rectial at 2:00. Myabe next year we could organise the club to meet there. Name tags with screen names would help.

I wonder if Tweeks would allow the club to park together in a designated area?? We could set up a couple of awnings for shade, hang out in our club hats[new ones next year?], swap stories. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

P.S. Do you think next year they will put the swap meet area further out in that corn field to the east? Sheeeeesh

Seanery, they had all of us put the cars in neutral with the e-brake on and leave the keys in the passenger seat so they could move them if they needed to(or take them out for a midnight run!).I didn't worry though, because i'm sure they would have taken all the others out before mine!

Brian,
I have pics from the swap meet. will post tomorrow when I can.

Sean...I can't believe I missed you.....I was with Shelby and also roaming with my son. We got pics of all the 914's except the darker yellow one...purchased a internal long kit from Mark...

to all reading this post...engman's internal long repair kit is HOT...son and I placed it into his project 914 on sunday morning...it just slipped right in...no cutting...perfect fit....TIA mark....

we should all get together next year at Mid America...and all park/party together...it would be very very cool...
