POC will be at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana this weekend, including a 4-hour race on Saturday evening. It is sure to be a cool event with a mix of handicapped classes in a team relay format as well as unlimited 'big guns' racing for the overall win.
Apparently participation is up this year with 130 cars registered for the various events, and 35 teams registered for the 4-hour enduro. I will not be driving but will be working as a pit marshall Saturday. Come check it out if you're interested in watching the action and/or learning more about POC. There will also be a booth set up to answer questions and register new members. http://www.porscheclub.com |
