I have a clean title and have been over every nut and bolt of this car
This is the most rust free 914 I've ever owned and that includes going back the 25 years and about a dozen cars. This car is turn-key, ready to drive and enjoy. Car presents and drives well, a head turner. battery tray is in great shape, longs are in great shape, rear trunk is in great shape... literally rust free. I'll send more pictures, and be happy to discuss details with people. If you know much about these cars you know how "just a little rust" really means the longs need work... I'm happy to say this one does not. It's a 1975 1.7 carbed car. It has been converted to 5 bolt wheels and has polished cookie cutters mounted with new tires. The body is very stock and its been repainted it's original color. There are a few minor blemishes in the paint (5) and I can send pictures of each. The interior is very modified. The current gauges are digital and the current seats/back pad are custom also. Transmission shifts well, although I still try to go into 1st before coming to a stand still. The car is a great driver and I put 5000 trouble free miles on it in the last year. It never fails to start, never broke down or died on me. All maintenance is up to date. It is in Longmont, Colorado. $6700.00 Here is a list of pro's and con's: •Original color, with good repaint •Absolutely no rust, what-so-ever •5 bolt conversion, polished wheels •New clutch •New tires •New 4 wheel alignment •Dual 40 IDF weber carbs •auxiliary oil cooler with fan •1.7 engine •Bosch 050 distributor •New pertronix ignitor •Euro front and rear turn signals (new lenses on front) •Front side markers filled •Front 21mm adjustable anti-sway bar •Koni shocks •Custom gauge cluster with digital fuel, tachometer, oil pressure, and speedometer •Additional gauges of oil temperature, cylinder head temperature, voltmeter, clock •Bronze pedal bushing kit •Metal fuel lines updated in center tunnel, all new rubber lines •Bump steer kit (for lowering) •Stainless steel brake lines •Power 911 flag mirrors (painted body color) •Tinted windows •Dyna-matt type insulation under trunk and on firewall •Space saver 5 bolt spare (fits in stock tire well) •Momo steering wheel •Aftermarket shift knob •Recarro GTI seats, custom interior back pad to fit them •Custom door panels •Custom wood console and arm rest •Custom gas tank cover/upholstery •Aftermarket hella electric horns •Hard to find yellow fog lights •Flexible rubber front spoiler (NLA) •Rear "Porsche" reflector between tail lights •Removable face CD player and power antennae •Bra and mirror covers •Electric windshield washer •New clutch cable •New bosch plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor •Painted (body color) metal rocker panels, and painted front spoiler Faults •Hood dimple (gas cap) •Trunk dimple •2 door dings on front right fender •Crack in paint near driver's side door handle •Rear trunk carpet stained •Driver seat wear •The bottom portion of speedometer digit is intermittent, but very legible Attached image(s) |

I've changed the muffler and the rear balance is included but not mounted. The muffler outlet needs to either be cut and welded to clear the valance, or the valance recut... neither of which I have done.

apparently I don't have a decent picture of the oil cooler under rear trunk (with thermostatically controlled fan)

It is a great deal, I can vouch for this one... I've driven it, and have been all though it. It's a great car at the price!

bump brant, I saw this in the background of your inspiring racecar build thread Anyways, wish you would have waited another year for me to finish my engineering degree. I'd eat this up! Good luck with the sale. If you have it in a year, you know where to find a buyer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) -Johnny |

I've seen this car in person at a local group get together. It's a great car for the price. Even thought about buying it my self as a driver since it's taking me forever to get mine reassembled from a repaint. The description is accurate as Brant is probably the most honest person I've ever met.
