A customer is planning to pick up his '75 914 2.0 and drive it home tomorrow (Saturday 6/11).
I don't know if he is on this forum or not. His current plan is to take public transport (Amtrak or Greyhound) to Hartford and I'll pick him up there. The car was undriven from 1984 until this week, and we've done a lot to make it roadworthy. I'd hate to have something unexpected force him to the side of the road before he even gets the car home. If anyone in the area would like to give him a ride here and follow him home it would greatly simplify things and add some security. |
