On my front trunk lid there is a fairly large bubble coming up and I need to take care of it as soon as I can. So I'm thinking about this, I wonder if anyone has a picture of a 914 like this for reference.
The car is bahia red, I think I will paint both trunk lids black. I think it will look good while matching the black top (when it's on). I took a sharpie to a signal orange matchbox and I like how it looks. Have you done this or have pictures of a car like this? If I remember my MiniSD adapter I can put a pic of the matchbox mock-up on here tomorrow. (not making any promises...) |

I was thinking this paint scheme would look sweet on a 914.

Check out his link. Lets you play with all kinds of stuff. You can also copy it into a paint program and play further.

I was thinking this paint scheme would look sweet on a 914. I actually thought of doing that to my 914 several years ago when my kids were attending a school where the mascot was a tiger. Unfortunately, never got that 914 running (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

That would be hilarious to see an LE tiger striped just to watch all the grown men crying around it at events. Not that I've ever been to one... |

There is a red car and a yellow car with the paint scheme you describe in the French club meet up video,, they looked pretty good. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...6&hl=france http://www.flickr.com/photos/marc9146/5805...157626905477424 -Robert |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i921.photobucket.com-11654-1308332715.1.jpg) and a closer look (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i921.photobucket.com-11654-1308332715.2.jpg) Not the best pics, but thats the basic idea. |

Looks like they are driving through a marijuana crop.
You have to do the headlight doors. It may look cool if you did the cowl, windshield frame and the engine lid. |

Wish I had prettier trees... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
I like how it looks without the headlights painted though, the shape of the trunk adds something to it. |

Thank you Poorsche!
That is what I'm expecting, except for the vinyl on the sail panels. |
