i picked up some 205-50-15 Potenzas at the swapmeet. i checked the tire pressure and the guy that mounted them put 42lbs of pressure in them <_< . the rating on the side of the tire is 42, so i won't fault him for that. BUT, that much air seems a bit excessive. i figure i can forget the pressures specified in the hanyes. any suggestions as to what i should be running? i did a w.a.g. and went to 30f and 33r. this did soften things up a bit. ALWAYS ask what they torque the lugs to. the guy turned them to 80lbs. he was afraid of "pulling the threads out of the hubs", "do you want me to retighten them". "YES, PLEASE!!".
