My 2056 BRAT motor is coming to a head. (little mechanic's joke there). Parts are all done and assembly is soon to begin at Brad's pending arrival of waylaid crank that took a sidetrip to Texas. Yesterday I added these last minute additions:
SSI heat exchangers
Bursch exhaust
Ceramic lifters
Brad does not know this yet but I also want to add a rennshift or similar conversion. Any recommendations?

So I guess the crank finally showed up?? The cylinders made it to Texas but I did not know about the crank! (I thought it was totally lost)

I need to talk to Brad for a status report, but he is AWOL and I'm sure up to his nose hairs in backlogs.

Which model do you recommend of rennshift?

the one that fits your transmission type - sideshift or tailshift...

your only choices are how much travel reduction you want - i believe it's 0%, 18% and 33% (30% in sideshift). i like short throws and did 33% for my car, i like it.
