Do the 15X6 deep dish "early" 911 Fuchs wheels present a problem for tire shops? I have heard that some have problems mounting and dismounting tubless tires on them. Is this the case and is it a hassle to get tires mounted? Is anyone running tubless tires on them, and if so can I have a brand/size as a reference?

shouldn't be a problem for a good, modern high-end tire shop with no-touch tools and a careful operator. i noticed a couple of small scratches after i had a set of tires dismounted at the local general-purpose garage (so much for the recommendations of co-workers ...) i doubt the guy had ever encountered wheels like those and had no concept of the issues or value...

anyway - what was on the car was Yoko Avid T4's, 215-60.

As long as you some research on the shop mounting the tires vs a shade tree mechanic, you should be okay. I've run Yokohama 205/50's. They are harder to mount, but with good mounting equipment it can be done.
