Been slaving away at it... yesterday was fixing the rear end damage and installing the flare. Today was weld in the rear hood pivot, weld the engine lid hinge, weld in the rear sway bar mounts, install hoods and lid and... build and weld/install a GT engine latch.

The GT engine latch was easier than expected. I pulled the cable and cut the tube down by the first weld. I heated it and bent it the way I needed it. Rewelded it back to the latch area and welded it to the outer grill area. I refit the cable and cut it to the new length. I have a VW gas latch pull on order (that's what the GT used).

Got the dash and various pieces in yesterday... just got my DSL back up.

I'm going to call this Mother Hubbard's "Tubbard". I'm glad I have this other 74 here to steal from. Bradhole picked it CLEAN!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Waiting for some missing pieces to get the Rich-6 Mount finished. I may swap the suspension today.

Still need to pull out the front end a bit more and get the drivers front fender on.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) Awesome work Eric! Impressed as always. I have 5 months and counting on my engine rebuild (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) but should have it wrapped up in another month. Then if I subtract two months of waiting for parts it's only 4 months but that still doesn't hold a candle so slow down or lie and tell us it took you longer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Jimmy Jr.! How the hell are ya man?

Thanks for the comments. I finished the rear suspension today. Still getting over the stomach flu. That slowed me down a bit. Front suspension tomorrow. I'll be slaving away next week to get that front end fixed.
