Did the 914 ever come stock with the houndstooth interior?
If so, please post some pics and I am nore interested in door panels, dash treatment etc. Rich |

Here's a shot of my 74's interior. It's not real houndstooth but it looks the part. I think the material was used in 1970's Camaros. Nonetheless it looks good enough...
The guy who did my interior is willing to do it on other 914's. The carpet is brown cut loop and was $600 and the seat with material included was $800... He does excellent work |

He does excellent work this might be one of my favorite interiors ever! I really like the brown vinyl backpad and seat trim and the color of the hounds tooth inserts blends perfectly with the carpet- If I had had this choice when redoing the interior of my car I would have gone that direction- I went black and charcoal rather than the original tan as there was not a good tan at the time, your guy did a great job for sure! |
