what did the door panels look like?
Dash? I saw a set of seats at Hershey one year...and then again T.C. posted a set on here. I really like that dark tan/houndstooth combo.... Its very vintage and fitting. Rich |

IIRC the Houndstooth in the USA was only available in 75-76 MYs AFAIK, and the bottom pic in TC's last post is a member here who had his reupholstered to original IIRC (hopefully he'll chime in).
Another of it showing a big bumper 75 or 76 .... Same as TC's for reference .... The Houndstooth, Plaid & Corduroy for all MYs was only for seat inserts, the door panels being either basketweave or smooth textured (71 & ??), and the dashes all the same vinyl covered (except the 2 914-8's & all 916s with leather). You can see all the interior choices by MY at Jeff Bowlsby's website here - http://www.bowlsby.net/914/Classic/PaintFabrics.htm |

Very cool look is all I have to say. I wish my Koenig seats were houndstooth instead of sueded fabric.

Not sure how well this pattern matches the factory stuff.
I like the blue, the wife said no (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) https://www.yourautotrim.com/hoaufa.html |

I have a 73 with factory houndstooth. Pretty sure it came that way.
Also just sold a set of houndstooth we did up for the fixed seat set up today. Will be doing up a few more sets, can easily do more if you want some. |
