Just brought in enough to do up a few sets of these. If anyone is interested they'll be the same price as the vinyl in black and white. Brought in red and yellow. If you let me know while were in production cost will be the same.

My impression is that alternate interior choices were far more likely in Europe than in the US.
Over there, people often ordered their cars. When ordering an allotment of cars here, a sales manager is not likely to take chances...... Guards red is the perfect example. |

Here's a shot of my 74's interior. It's not real houndstooth but it looks the part. I think the material was used in 1970's Camaros. Nonetheless it looks good enough...
The guy who did my interior is willing to do it on other 914's. The carpet is brown cut loop and was $600 and the seat with material included was $800... He does excellent work |

This interior really looks sharp.
And the "Camaro" houndstooth is the cat's meow. Nice! Here's a shot of my 74's interior. It's not real houndstooth but it looks the part. I think the material was used in 1970's Camaros. He does excellent work this might be one of my favorite interiors ever! I really like the brown vinyl backpad and seat trim and the color of the hounds tooth inserts blends perfectly with the carpet- If I had had this choice when redoing the interior of my car I would have gone that direction- I went black and charcoal rather than the original tan as there was not a good tan at the time, your guy did a great job for sure! |

Do you want me to do up some orange for ya? Nah, Ill just grab a couple yards if I go that route, unless your going to grab a roll of it then next time I grab an order Ill get a yard from you. The orange gives me some interior design options I hadnt thought about. But Ive got to make the design classic modern, so I need to sketch it out. |

Looking in the background of my "photographic memory" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I might have access to orange GM print houndstooth. In the pic was yellow and red, and I recall more rolls getting dusty. My cost $22/yd + driving and I can buy in 1/4 yards if desired.
