My carbs are not going back on the car this weekend while I wait for some parts to be custom made.

So, how can I check to see if my SSIs have leaks, without a smoke machine or running the engine? I have the time, may as well use it.

If you have a single exhaust outlet, you can try pressurizing it. The open and partially open exhaust valves may fool ya.

or

fill it with water (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Cap off the exhaust tip and turn the motor over with the starter?
