New auto-x video from July 9. NER region PCA (massachusetts).
Now I have speed overlaid as well.
Sorry, photobucket compresses it so you can't see the farther away
cones.

Nice driving. Good job.

In the video it looks like you are sitting really high up. How high is that seat off the floor?

Is that a 904 ahead of you?

It looks as if you are another candidate for a flipped ZD 3rd. You've got a torquey 2.7 in that thing, don't you? The ZD will give another 15-20 mph top and it doesn't make you wind the guts out of the motor......the power delivery is a bit smoother also.

I also like to be as high up as possible & close to the wheel.....NASCAR style. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks

The seat is stock. I leave the cushion in. I just have non-retractable
beetle belts that I pull very tight and hold for longer than a minute.

This course was weird in that it was all 2nd gear for me (7100rpm)
but didn't have any parts that really slowed down either. No way I
could keep up with the GT3's and actually 3rd in modified class when
usually I'm second.

OK, so the shitbox was a bit more of a racecar. GT3s were dog meat.....well, when Brit was driving. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I've got a 'period correct' car. It's a 2.2 E engine with carbs.
Still very much a street car in decent weather.

I would have guessed a 2.7 as well. Must be a good motor.

BTW you'd be surprised what a good set of belts will net you in time.
