Funny Story - @ Sebring with the "Right" you can get into the Pits during the 12 Hours. However you have to wear a Firesuit. Well Motorsports Ministries has an Auction and I bought an Alex Job suit signed by all the Drivers. After they won I was in Victory Lane 7 the Job team was having a Good Time. I was still in my suit & they handed me the Trophy. I could have easily walked with it (I didn't)

1/24 scale plastic 917 model. I painted it Gulf colors with an airbrush.

This is my favorite model. I saw the prototypes racing at Watkins Glen back in 1971 and I just had to have a model. I couldn't find a good M8D model so I took a highly detailed M8B model and did the necessary modifications to turn it to an M8D.

Can you see the one detail that would make this car historically significant?
