I work with the biggest prude ever and she has gone to the boss about the avatars here. She claims I am looking at porn. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spank.gif) She was upset about the "naked female walking and the young lady showing her breasts". The boss is a car guy and I showed him the site and how small the avatars are and how she had to be more woried about what I was doing and not doing her job. Long story ...... Can we clean the avatars up a bit so I can keep surfing here at work? If she goes to him again about this he told her he will have the IT guy block this site and list it as a porn site. PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks

you can turn the avatars off. That is what I do when I am at the "Real Office".
As a manager, I have to say that she is right. It can very well be considered sexual harassment and in some cases get you fired. There was a big hoopla at my corporate office (I work from home 99.9% of the time) about the Hooters calendars and such. The best way to avoid issues like this is NOT to give them a reason to look for issues. Leave the sexy/suggestive stuff at home. This gives them nothing to hold over your head. Heck, I don't even tell jokes when I'm at the corp office. In my 18yrs at Motorola I have seen many people get up set over a joke they over heard someone telling, or a picture in someones cube. |

I agree completely. If you haven't figured out yet how to turn them off, PM or email me.
BTW - The "MyControls" link if you don't know where it is (at the top of every BBS page): (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-11-1088174062.jpg) |

Thanks Sean. I was just about to do that myself. But you're in "FAQ" mode!
I stole your image after creating my own. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) This post has been edited by Gint: Jun 25 2004, 10:44 AM |
